Travel songs & verbal games for kids on long car trips? Does anyone know any websites where I can go to obtain free lyrics to fun songs to sing in the car on long trips for free? Also verbal games to play when traveling. The kids are almost 3 and almost 4. Looking for verbal fun games and song to sing to pass the time, not travel games you’d buy in a store and not downloadable music, just lyrics. Thanks so much.
What was the name of this one, I think it was an RPG , on www.CBC.ca/kids/games? Alright, there was this game on www.CBC.ca/kids/games. I really want to find this game. I think I played it in grade 6, which was two years ago (2008). This game, at first, had many glitches and screw ups, in this game you would have these sort of... monsters, which you would train and use to fight. You could travel to places and fight different types of monsters. You could also go to an arena and fight other players. I have no idea what this game is called..... and I would like to play it again. Please help! Btw, this isn't Pokemon, lol.
Does anyone know where I can buy a travel mug caddy? I'm looking for a way to carry four travel mugs of coffee to the kids soccer games, baseball games, etc. but can't find anything on the web. Anyone know if someone sells something to help carry multiple travel mugs?
Is it weird for someone my age to like video games? I am middle aged and I do actually have a life - a great job in a creative field, kids, family, friends; I travel a lot and do volunteering. But I also get really obsessively into some RPG games, the way I used to get into fantasy fiction when I was a teenager, and I enjoy reading the fan fiction that grows up around these games, and the youtube parodies really make me laugh (though a little goes a long way). Should I be taking up gardening instead?
Seat back video games on Virgin 747-400 flying from Manchester? Do Virgin 747-400's flying from Manchester to Orlando have seat back video games? I've been on the Virgin website and it says that 'most' of their planes have games on the seat back consoles. I'm travelling with 2 kids and 1 easily bored husband next month, need to know whether to weigh myself down with Nintendo Gameboys and the like ! I know that there are films and t.v show's etc to watch but nothing shuts up my 2 (3) kids like video games !!
Football players kids' do they get home schooled or get tutored or what? I was just wondering since football players travel a lot do they bring there kids with them or the wife stays home and watches? Usually I see wives go to there husband games then where do their kids go. Since football is 6 months do they get tutored for 6 monthes then go to school for a couple of months?
Can you give me some advice for LONG DRIVES with small kids? My wife and I will travel about 22 hours with 3 kids ( 7, 5, 2 ) in june. Can you give me please some advice ? I will bring a portable DVD and video games, but what else can I do to keep them at peace? I plan to divide the travel in 3 days of 7-8 hrs, to give them time to have lunch and maybe arrive early to a hotel so they can go to the pool and relax... Any ideas? Please ?
Would you travel to a childs birthday party? I am sending invitations out next week for my daughters birthday party. The party isnt until September. The travel distance is between 45-60 minutes.I had the party at this place because it was cheaper and there the kids would have more fun. They have a skating rink,2 story indoor playground and arcade games, plus they provide everything for the party. There is also other things to do there, but that would cost extra. This is her first birthday party and she will be 9.I hope I made the right choice. So if it was you would you let your child attend? And should I list things for them to expect at this party,so then they could decide if its woth driving to. The reason I am sending the invitations out now is because when school starts back up in the end of August there would only be a week untill the party. And I don't like that short of a notice.
traveling with kids! need car game ideas? We are traveling out of state for a week, has anyone ever heard of road kill bingo? if so, do you know where i can just print some off instead of buying them? what are some other great games for a 6 year old and a 3 year to play in the car on long drives. we already have a portable dvd player, but i want to get away from the whole tv thing as much as i can while on vacation. and as for not knowing how to play bingo, they have played before so no its not hard for my kids. thank you though.
What is your favorite board game? And do you buy new or look for vintage versions of your favorite games? I am thinking of getting Scrabble. My ex absconded with my old game and contacting him for it would release the gates of hell (just kidding), so I'm looking for a new Scrabble. Should I get a vintage version or just buy a new one? Which is best - Deluxe, regular or Travel? Also, what are some other good board games? I only have ever played Scrabble, Candyland, Monopoly, and Boggle. Also, if you prefer vintage - where do you find them?
Parents (mostly those that travel): What do you think of this idea? How about an airline specially designed for children? The seats could be backs toward the wall (2 rows on each side) so that there could be a little show in the middle. Anything! A magician, a puppet show, a dance, some games that the kids could get involved in, etc. And they could provide car seats that fit into there seat perfectly so that you don't have to lug them around and wrestle them to go in. What do you think of it? Is there one that exists I've never heard of? Yes but maybe only 5 kids allowed up at a time, and obviousy when the seat belt sign is light, they have to be seated.
Can you help me name a kids computer game from the late 90's/early '00s? My friend and I were recently having a conversation about computer games we played as elementary school students in the late 1990's/ early 2000's. We were able to name quite a few but there was one that we couldn't remember for the life of us! Maybe you know it! It involved a group of preteens/teenagers (maybe four or five) who, in each different game, traveled to a different era and place and tried to solve mysteries. You had to "help" them by playing games involving math, reading, etc. It was billed as an educational game, probably for 4th or 5th graders. I remember one game took place in Egypt and one took place in South America. Does anyone remember this game?!!?
A Mattel? kids' toy popular in 2004/2003 called the pix-something? I really wanted it, I remember for Christmas. It had a black and white screen and a bunch of games you could play on it, if you bought different packages, like the travel game or something which had Tic-Tac-Toe. And it had a black-and-white screen. Then they came out with a color version. ..anyone know what it was called? pix-something?
Kids car DVDs? We are looking for a car DVD game for our kids for traveling and long trips. This game tracks the surroundings that you pass during the trip and explains sightseeings. Does anybody know this game or something similar?
Help!!! We're traveling with 5 kids!?!?!? O.K. Seriously, I know we sound crazy. My husband and I HAVE to make a 17 1/2 hour trip this weekend. We will start out with 3 kids (9,7,3) and we have to pick up 2 others (9 & 13) along the way. One of the children I have custody of went to stay with his grandfather for a few weeks, and now we have to pick him back up. Then, we also have to pick up my little brother. The bad part is, my husband is really busy at work, so he can only travel on the weekend. We will be leaving Friday and coming home Sunday. So its not like we have to do it all in one day, just one weekend. ANY suggestions would be great... Cheapest places to eat, Cheap hotels, and most importantly boredom busters. We definatley need games and other fun ideas to keep these kids busy. Thanks in advance for your answers!
Name of these 5 oldish pc Games? I have faint memories of them but i have no idea what they were called!? I played these 3 games when i was about 10, that's 11 years ago. 1) This one came on a CD with lots of other games including Doom 95, earthworm jim. I'm not sure if i played the demo of this game or the full version but you were always in a small space ship i'm sure. It was 3D, and you're pretty much flying the ship through a desert from behind the ship screen. The only scene i remember was flying through a tomb like structure, and i had to avoid randomly falling debris and stuff. I'm pretty sure you were able to shoot at some points- but i could be wrong. There was an Egyptian stone figure outside the structure whos eyes glowed. The structure was just one part of the "world" you traveled in, the rest were vast and endless looking, not a track. That's all i remember sadly. 2) This one is from the same CD and i'm most interested in. It was from top view, sort of like old command and conquer but not so much strategy (atleast not for a 10 year old). I commanded a small tank on a island, i could switch to a plane or submarine to travel to other little islands. I blew up random little structure and the most significant part- i chased after fleeing little people with my tank and squished them. Everything was small scale because the game shows a big area. I can't remember if there was a point but i do remember "loosing" or dying, especially my submarine or ship failing on me. 3) This was a different game, it was a animal vet like game. The starting screen was possibly a giant tree with road signs arrows on it which would have said things like "load", "save"..etc etc. The background was like a farm ish place. This game was mostly educational as i recall learning many animal names from it. There were many different modes, some where inside the vet area and you try and find out what was wrong with the animal. Another was these animals on a moving trail and you had to pick the right one at the right time...i really can't remember. It was a colorful fun game for kids, with a lot of talking. 4) The next two games came with my windows 97 computer lol. This was 2D where the entire screen/box was a puzzle "map". Imagine a large Bomber Man map. Here you control a little yellow man and there are obstacles in his way, you are here to collect apples or something. You have to collect all the many apples on the screen to finish the level. However, after walking on a apple to collect it, the wall or block above the apple (if there is any) will fall on you and kill you. So it gets very hard as the levels go on. 5) this game came with the computer too. There were both little non full screen games. This was a puzzle game as well and i think you control another little man in similar 2D maps. on this map there are lets say, 5 swans and you have to collect them and push them into specific areas on the screen. Once you get all 5 swans into their allocated places (usually 5 spaces or watever next to each other in a corner) you advance a level. This game gets rather difficult too, as every move you make can block your path and you have to think about which swam or whatever to put into their allocated space next to not screw it all up and reach a corner as you can not pull them back, only push. I know there are a lot of games similar to the ones i described, especially the last two. But remember these are quite old and i really hope someone will know the names to some of them. I really wanna jog my memory and see them again!! Thanks in advance!! number 3 is like desert strike, but had tanks...

Has anyone ever heard of an audiotape called "Games For The Road", with a Fairy Game Mother? I must have picked this up on audiocassette about ten years ago, at some travel stop. I forget where. Anyway, it was a tape called "Games For The Road", and had this really funny character called Fairy Game Mother to help a couple of kids play some games in the car on a long trip. She also told some stories, too. Does anyone know if this is on CD somewhere? I've lost my original tape and would love to replace it the next time my family goes on a trip. It was a lifesaver, until the tape broke!
What interests do you have, that you would be willing to share with people online? input will help my site? I am not sure, if I covered all the interests people have out there. Here is what I am putting together right now for my new site. Automotive page: People can show pictures of their cool car. Hunting & Fishing Page: People can show pictures of the deer they shot or fish they caught. Hobby & Art: People can show art pictures they made to each other. Family Page: People can show cute or funny pictures of their kids or thier kids drawings. There will be a chat box on each page too. So that people can talk to other people with the same interests. Here are the other interest I have so far. Sports, Gaming/Computers, Music/Video, Help People, Free Stuff, Play room (Little Games), Travel, and Shopping online. Now what would you like see added to this list? Your input will mean a lot to me. Because you are the people I am trying to get to join together with one another. Thank You Tony

Does anywhere know where i can find this game online? In junior school we used to have a game called 'around the world in 80 days' it was about these two kids travelling around the world and this evil man kept trying to stop them. When I search for it now, all that comes up is a diamond game and that you have to go back to the 1900's :S So if anyone knows what this game is and they know where to find it, can you tell me please because i really want to finish the game.

Anyone shopped for electronic games in Hong Kong? I am travelling to Hong Kong and southern China in a couple of months and have promised the kids I will buy them a nintendo ds or psp or the like. Has anyone got any ideas on where might be the best place to start looking. Is Hong Kong really that much cheaper than Australia for these sort of things. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks
What are some really great cabin themes I could do for my cabin at camp this summer? I am working at a summer camp this summer as a counselor and I want to decorate my cabin really cute for the girls! What kind of theme could I use? I worked there last summer (and I did a girly army look to match the camp's overall theme) and having a theme for a cabin seemed to build unity among the girls so I really want an amazing one this year. I need theme ideas as well as (inexepensive) ways to execute them. It would be great if the theme was more than just the looks of the cabin and could be a few simple games and art projects too...and maybe some learning opportunities (maybe a certain emphasis on certain days). The two ideas I have kicked around are Travel (like learning about kids in other countries) and Good Health (since good health is a huge component of camp). A major thing is that each week the theme will need to be flexible enough to work with 5-17 year olds, as my age range with change each week. Any ideas? None of my friends have had any!
Am I stupid for driving my 9 year old 2 hours from OH to PA to play Tier I travel hockey? There is one ice rink 5 minutes away from us where my son has been playing for 6 years. There is also one Tier I travel team in our city but my son didnt make the team. He has the chance to play on a AAA Tier 1 team 2 hours away in PA (we find out soon if he made it). He has outgrown the kids and skill level in our town and playing travel is next step. My hopes are he will learn the ropes of travel play and make the travel team in our area next year. Am I crazy for driving 2 hours 3 times a week for practices? + traveling all over NE USA for games on the weekends?
man u fans do they go to away games? i know this bloke he works with my wife - we live in london which of course is right next to old trafford well it must be with the amount of kids that wear man u shirts around my way-. Anyway unlike millions of others who insist they support a team but dont realise its not a game thats exclusively just for tv viewing this man actually goes to games home and away he went to every champions league game this year be it at arsenal or in russia(sorry i dont watch champions league games so cant give you another teams name that they played),. my point being if man u has a ground that holds 76 thousand and people tell me you have to be a season ticket holder to be assured of getting in and for away games especially big cup games you have to go in to a ballot to get tickets how does he get allocated a ticket EVERY away game theres got to be more chance in winning the lottery then his name coming out of the hat for away matches every time surely with that many oh so loyal proud man utd fans around more surely would want to go and see them play in away games dont man u fans travel (well actually that must because theres thousands travel from all over the uk to get to old trafford for home games )?
Games to play in the car? Will be travelling through Europe and wanted some ideas of games to play with the kids whilst on the move ( Not computer games or PSP stuff ) as i am a little bored now of the first one to spot the red car, etc etc
What Can I Expect In High School Tryouts? Thanks To Everyone Who Helped Me Make My Indoor Travel Team. (Even Though Everyone There Made The Team. There Were Only 15. But I was still one of the top players). A lot ofthe kids on the team were on their schools JV Team. I AM going to a small private school that is very easy to make. Even Though I am 6ft 135 lbs, Im not used to playing against kids as big if not bigger then me. There were only 3 or 4 players who were shorter than me. I know that at high school tryouts, my competeition will only get bigger. Any tips? And Im wondering what drills they will put us through. Lots of Technical stuff, or mainly small sided games and scrmmaging. I know all schools are different but anything will help.
Taking kids on the road? I will be in a car for 2 hours with two kids who don't care for traveling...They will have already been in a car for 8 hours the day before so I know they'll be cranky. We already have them a portable dvd player but what are some other things to keep them busy just incase? They don't care for playing car games. Two girls, 9 and 11
Does anyone know the name of this old computer game? I've asked like MILLIONS of times, but people tend to just answer saying "I don't know, but 'so and so' is a great game!" All I can basically remember is that it's about this group of teenage looking kids that kinda travel the world I guess? I guess not the world, but they have these little adventures in different areas. The ones I can remember take place in Egypt and in a jungle. The game is somewhat educational. I don't want to know other great games, I wanna know the name of this one! D:

Does anybody remember an old computer game about "whiz" kids on a quest? I'm trying to find a game that i played when I was little, I believe it was some sort of educational/quest type game where you were a "whiz" kid (aka nerdy, geeky, etc.) boy or girl and had to find keys and make your way to a wizard. You had to answer questions along the way, however I don't recall what kind of questions they were (I think it was a variety of them). The game was really lame graphic -wise; it was definitely MS-DOS, floppy disk old but fun all the same (who cares when you're 8?). You could tell that they kids were wearing glasses, had read shirts on and i think the girl even had pig-tails. the screen background was very plain and simple - you traveled through tunnels with gray "rock" above and below you and in between that it was just black. I think you arrived at different stations where you had to answer the questions and the kids might have even been holding wands but that might've been the keys they found and I'm just mixing them up. Please help if you know!!!
why do suburban kids listen to hiphop the most? not just whites but suburban kids in general.... they knock hiphop like they know whats good hiphop is a lifestyle and a way of thinking its the way you were raised, and the neighbor hood you were raised in.. i dont mind people listening to it. that does bother me. but suburban kids dont know how good they have it, and the first thing they want to do is pretend like their down and travel to the wrong side of town. try to relate to the gangstas and thugs. and its just fraudulant. what they know about the struggle. the game. the hood the gangs the dealers the hoes the addicts the cops what gives them the right to come into my nieghborhood and PRETEND like they're broke and in hard times and then leave and go back to their 5 bedroom 4 bathroom house somebody tell me i just think its rude and disrespectful and in some ways making a mockery of reality
Need help figuring out name of a movie!!? Where kids travel to California for a video game competition... I think the movie was late 80's or early 90's. I also think the winning game was Super Mario brothers or something! Please help!
What happened to basketball? What happend to moving without the ball? Unselfishness? Rules being enforced? The mid range jumper? Hustle? Defense? Free throw shooting? Respect of officials? Passion? Respect of us fans? The NBA and ESPN have ruined such a great game, kids these days work on dunking and shooting threes, which is all they see on the sportscenter highlights. And as all us pureist know, that is not basketball. Kids have no concept of traveling or double dribbiling because players in the NBA are allowed to do these things. Its no wonder why we can't win internationally anymore, OUR game has become a joke world wide, OUR stars cant even hit an open 15 footer..but wow, we sure can dunk.

Can you help me plan a trip from DC to Boston to NYC? I'm visiting DC/Virginia in late June from CA. I've been to DC a couple of times so I know where to go there. I'm travelling with my wife and 2 kids, but I've got an itch to go to Boston Fenway by myself to catch a game. What's the best, smartest, and most economical way to get from DC to Boston? Where should I stay in Bos with a tight budget in mind? I have a friend I'm meeting there for the first time and he'll probably show me around town and take me to the game. Finally, when I leave Boston, should I go back to DC and then travel to NYC with my family, or should I just have them travel alone (probably by motorcoach) and meet them in NYC? Whatever you suggest, please provide your own real life experience/knowledge. Mapquest info has its limitations of course.
Promotional song with game about Canada in the 70s? I know it's not a travel related question, but I figured more Canadians will be on this board, lol. I'm trying to remember what the name of a song from the late (?) 70s was. It came on a floppy 45 record, and it was a song about Canada, made for kids, and I think it incorporated a game. I'm pretty sure it was in English and French. Any leads? Thanks!
Do you have any book suggestions for young readers? For Christmas, I give books to all of the kids I know. I like to read the books before giving them, partly because I want to be sure they're appropriate, and partly because I like to be able to talk to them about the books. I've already given books like Ender's Game, Eragon, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Hoot, Harry Potter - the obvious ones. I'd prefer paperback. I need suggestions for books for a couple of 11 -14 year old boys, one of whom is into WWII and outdoorsy stuff, and another who likes science fiction. Also, any "best reads" for new readers and un-readers (I have a couple of toddlers and babies on the list)?
Ideas for activities to keep 2 childen under 3 busy on a 16 hour international flight? We have flown this before with both of our kids, but one was just a 3 month old so he slept the whole time. Now he is 1yr 4months and has a lot more energy. I need some ideas of toys or games I can make with simple craft supplies, as we don't have much along the lines of travel toys here in the Philippines. If anyone knows of a website that has simple to make ideas, please leave a link, thanks
Any stories about below average travel team/rec baseball players making their High School Team? I see some great players today at 13 and think my kids has talent but just not producing yet. I just want him to make High School team in a few years (to get him busy and out of trouble!). He is good enough to make a good travel team but he just hasn’t produced (hit in games very well) over the last 2 years…he has a lessons, works hard, etc…I’m just hoping physical development (puberty) and maturity will help him in High School. I just want to give him some encouragement so he doesn't give up now. Thanks Son can hit in practice and cages...Instructor is surprised not in games. Just no production in games. He has had a few good hits..but batting under 200. Just wanted to hear some success tories to encourage him. He is on a major travel team so has athletic ability..
How do I keep the bond with my kids? I'm a single father who has three kids - 13, 12 and 7 years old. Until earlier this year, I had custody but they now live with their mother (I live alone). I travel a fair amount for work and generally see my kids every other weekend (with an occasional week day thrown in when I'm in town). Ever since they moved in with their mom, I have had a tough time staying connected with their busy lives. When I do have them, I find we are so busy with doing the normal stuff - soccer games, parties, grocery shopping, etc. - that there is no time left for the stuff that draws us closer. And it seems that the more I try to do 'special stuff' with them, the more it appears that I'm 'buying' them rather than being a father to them. I need help trying to bring balance back to our relationships before they get old enough that they just won't emotionally want or need their dad anymore. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
What was the computer game called where you found keys and other objects? ? It was a basic game seen through the yes of your player who travels trhough corridors finding different keys to open various doors. You also had to pick up weapons, food and medicines. There were enemies on each level, the one i remember most was the mummy enemies. I used to have a commodore 64 and an amiga but cant remember which one it was from. The kids programme dungeon master reminded me of it, where the kids guided their friend through teh levels. Anyone remember this?
Is this fair?? and Volleyball travel team tryouts? Hey guys I am 12 years od. and i love volleyball and want to play it for the rest of my life. I was practicing for my (middle school) jv team like crazy because i knew from the start the coach didnt like me. I did the overhand serve on the tryouts and made it in (I was the only one, and every1 else did underhand and alot missed) i also bumped it right to the coach and set it to her (lol we were supposed to) and every person except for 5 people had never even played volleyball before. Those 5 people along with 11 players who have never played made the team. The coach said "you dont quite have the skills it takes to be on this team". Like i said volleyball is my passion and i spend most of my time practicing volleyball, so i was crushed. I have never cried more in my life. So that was the friday i got rejected. Then on monday she sais hi to me and then shes like how was your day friday (wtf u rejected me friday dumb***). Then like a week later i was still extremely upset and by this point i had stopped eating and sleeping because all i could think about was volleyball (when i said it was my passion i really wasnt kidding. ) so i was with two of my friends (both had made the team) and we asked her if we could borrow a volleyball (the schools volleyball, so its not like its her volleyball or anything) and she goes sure, but everybody who is not on the jv team has to leave the gym (its not her gym either). They werent having practice either, it was during lunch, so it was just for fun. It was just the three of us, and i was the only one who had to leave the gym (and she knows that i was extremely upset that i was rejected). That day i came home crying, and all i can think about is being rejected over and over again, and being told that im not good enough for her team. she has been doing stuff like this for the past month and i feel like cra.p. Is this fair of her to exclude me like this, and should she be punished or something?? Also like i said I absolutely love volleyball, and i really want to play, so i found this travel team. I live in miami, and the games are no further then orlando (a four and a half hour drive), so its not like its national or anything. They chose 6 people for practicing just in miami, and an additional 8-11 for traveling tournaments. The tryouts are in early december, and i am planning on trying out. What types of things do you think they will be looking for as far as serving passing, and maybe spiking (this is a 12 year old league so i dont know if we have to spike) and everything else for our age group. I am staring private lessons in november, so i want to know what i should ask my coach to teach me. Also do you think that they would even consider me, being that i didnt make my school team *wow im such a reject :(*. I just have this big fear of them like laughing at me and being like i cant believe you are trying out for this when you cant even make your middle school jv team. Like i said i have a strong overhand serve, i have good control bumping, and i can set pretty good, so on so on. Sooooo... basically is this fair?? What will they be looking for in the 12-13 year old league (i think my age will have to try out for the 13 year old) andd if u have any tips on the overhand serve (my serve is very important to me lol) and idk if this matters for the tryouts but i practice alot (at least four hours on weekends, and two hours on weekdays every day) Thxx soooooo much in advance!!! Brooke lol.. well i had alot to say and i dont know why she doesnt like me.. she was my gym teacher last year and she was even mean to me then... and during the tryouts i had a good atitude, and i have a low self asteem so i never act cocky.. and i even helped the coach out at the end by staying late to help pick up... so idk why she doesnt like me... i have never said anything bad about her, and when she was my teacher i always put alot of effort into gym class... so idk... anyways so next year im trying out for MS V so the coach is alot nicer and so far he has no problems with me... i was just really upset (like crying myself to sleep every night) that i didnt get the team... how could i take it so seriousely, and practice soooo much, and lose it to people who have never played volleyball... durin tryouts when we were serving one person even said "well ive never held a volleyball so how do you serve?" she made the team!! i guess my revenge is that they have yet to win their first game :)!
My Video Game Trivia!? First correct answer gets 10 points! Question 1) What is the name of the main character in a game where a group of 4 kids travels through space and time to fight an alien whose name starts with a G (giving the aliens name away might be too obvious) (Oh and the game is an rpg) Question 2) Who is the last character unlocked in Super Smash Bros Brawl? Question 3) Who's death (at the very beginning of the game) is very important throughout the game Mother 3 You must submit correct answers to all of the questions.
All of a sudden my kids are independent 7 & 8 and I'm sad because of missed time due to work - anyone else? I'm a working mom - a working mom that traveled quite a bit especially last year. When I wasn't traveling, I was sitting on my computer with my kids asking - when will you be done, and my standard answer was - in 10 minutes. My job situation has changed, in light of the fact, that I put my heart and soul into my job last year, and was told it wasn't good enough. Don't get me wrong, I still have my job, just not as much responsibility, same pay. Another important thing is I have been very fortunate, my husband did stay with my girls since they were born. I am just so mad and sad, that now I am NOT putting 16 hour days in, I come home and do not turn the computer on, and now, one on my girls is coming into her own - going in her room by herself to plays games, read books, etc, nothing bad, just not the little girl I used to have... and didn't have time for. We sat and talked about it tonight, she and I, and I told her I was sorry, but I'm still so angry I let so much time pass. I know there isn't anything I can do now.... but was looking for others who may have been in my shoes and how they stopped thinking about the past.
I am traveling to Pensacola with 4 little kids under the age of 10...? I am going to my beach house in Pensacola, Florida and I was wondering what I could do with the kids on the way there, its a 6 hour drive! So what are some things we could do? Also what can we do when we get there? Our house is right across the street from the beach so we can go there whenever and we have a pool so we can basically be in the water 24/7 but what can we do other than swim and sun bathe? What games can I play with them? There are 2 boys and 2 girls and there might be a couple other kids coming too. The boys are 8 and 4 and the girls are 6 and 2.
Travel Soccer Tryouts tomorrow! Nervous!!! Tips, anyone??? ok so I'm 12 and on the A team for travel Soccer. I have tryouts tomorrow and thursday. I am reeeeeeally nervous and I don't know why. Yesterday we had a game and I did ok, but not my best. In the tryouts we have to do speed, and 4v4's. I am one of the fastest kids, and pretty good in small matches. But i am worried that I am going to be tired out because tomorrow I have these Field Day races and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday I am helping out with the younger kids Field Days. But on Wednesday I have my own Field Day. I am not saying that it is a lot of work or anything, just its a lot of standing around. Any tips to calm my nerves???? thanxxxxx. <33
