How can I find a job/jobs compiling crosswords?

1. write to magazines/newspapers and see if they are looking for anyone
2. It may have to be a volunteer job; I know several major newspapers compile their own; www.oneacross.com maintains a database; I think www.cruciverb.com or npl.org does too. It is really just a matter of databasing. I'm assuming that by compiling you mean accumulating, not composing (those who make 'em call it "constructing").
