Hi can you solve cryptic crosswords Im looking for some one who can tell me what this ?

I have two clues I need to solve and to make it more difficult I don't know how many letters in each the clues are : 1) Perhaps remove the end its not important. 2) Bold as the beginning I see a cabbage and such.
