Parents (mostly those that travel): What do you think of this idea?
How about an airline specially designed for children? The seats could be backs toward the wall (2 rows on each side) so that there could be a little show in the middle. Anything! A magician, a puppet show, a dance, some games that the kids could get involved in, etc. And they could provide car seats that fit into there seat perfectly so that you don't have to lug them around and wrestle them to go in. What do you think of it? Is there one that exists I've never heard of? Yes but maybe only 5 kids allowed up at a time, and obviousy when the seat belt sign is light, they have to be seated.

- Oh god, that would be HELL! That wouldn't be safe for the kids to be running around through the plane because sometimes there is nasty turbulence. I was flying home last week from Frankfurt, Germany and we had HORRIBLE turbulence, things were falling over and it hurt because we would hit turbulence and fall or rise up too fast or smack from side to side. That would be absolute HELL for the parents and anyone else aboard! There isn't one now.
- Great idea, but it would not be economically feasable. The seats are designed like they are in order to squeeze in as many passengers as possible. Your idea would require about 2/3 of those seats (or more) to be eliminated. As a result, the prices for such an airline would be astronomical. Some adults might pay premium prices to fly themselves first class, but most won't pay ridiculous prices for their children to fly.
- I don't think there is one, unless Disney wants to create one...they already have the Cruise so the might light that idea, although I don't know how profitable could that be. I would love that, I'm not that crazy about the clowns, there are some kids who are afraid of those and since an airplane is a small space, I would go nuts just hearing those screams ....honestly I couldn't handle it. And I don't think other mom would appreciate that perhaps your kids are quiet, babies asleep and all of the sudden there are other kids crying their lungs out!! .
- It's a good idea, but I can't see it happening. Since it isn't very often children go on long trips (longer than 3 hours) I can't see them being very entertained. Maybe, in the back of an airline, put a small area like that in, where kids could go play during the flight. If the seatbelt sign is on, the kids would have to go back to their seats. Good idea though:)
- It would be great for young families but the airline wouldn't make much aiming at such a small market. Rich (this sounds expensive) and young families. They would go under very fast. Plus, many planes have those touchscreens on the back of the seats where children can choose their own movies and paired with some picture books that is usually enought to keep them entertained.
